Co-founder of Sparkle Live Music,

Kewei is the sassy Singaporean singer-songwriter who used to be known as the “Back-up Diva”. She toured with the biggest names in Mandarin pop, as backing vocalist in their world concert tours, with David Tao, JJ Lin, Amei and Wang Leehom for 6 years.

She also plays the erhu, adding an international appeal to her music with a chinois twist.

She amassed fans through her Youtube videos, released an independent EP “KEEP!”with Ein Ein as a duo, and launched the album in Hong Kong, with a surprise guest Khalil Fong who came to support!

In 2010, she released her debut album “Come Closer with Kewei”, which was the No. 1 album on the HMV Jazz Charts for several weeks. She

recorded a bilingual duet with Filipino heartthrob Christian Bautista, was awarded Local New Artist (Media’s Choice) at the 16th Singapore Hit

Awards, and represented Singapore at the Hong Kong Asian Music Festival.

In 2011, she was appointed the Intellectual Property of Singapore (IPOS) ambassador together with Dick Lee, and released her sophomore album “Fallin” in 2012.

2014 saw Kewei headline Resorts World Sentosa’s Chinese New Year Gala Dinner together with Wang Leehom, and she took part in her first musical production “Innamorati” by Toy Factory, as well as in National Day Parade.

She also recorded and exclusively released her Piano Jazz audiophile album in Japan, which topped the sales charts in its first month of release.
